Apologizing in text is not a real way to apologize. An apology should be done face to face. If it is not done in person, then how can you know that the person is truly sincere about it. I have never sent an apology over text. I do not believe in apologizing over text because how can you be sure that they are sorry and that they actually mean it. I have had people apologize to me over text. Mostly, they were my friends but those friendships did not last because every time they would say sorry, they would not say it in person, but over text. And then a few days later, they would go and do the same exact thing they had apologized for earlier. I think that it has given people a way to just lie to make things seem better and it is creating this mentality that there are no consequences because you can just apologize right away and that is supposed to make things better. I believe a face to face apology is the only way to go.

good work Riley.. you said something very true... those people that take short cuts with relationships (texting apologies is just one way) - they usually don't mean it along with they continue doing the things that cause the trouble in the first place... Blog #8 is in
