Dear me in 10 years, this is you 10 years in the past. Right now I am in high school and you should be out of college and you should hopefully have a job in law enforcement. In high school I learned that there are many different types of people and that you should always try to look at things from someone else's point of view. I hope you are doing this because if you ever plan to go anywhere in life you need to make that connection. Also, I hope that you have a good set of friends and maybe a significant other in your life. You need to hold on to the precious things in life and realize what you have before it is gone. Losing something after you see what you have lost is horrible, so please try to enjoy the people you have in your life. I hope you have a wonderful life and don't forget anyone in your life.

A time when I failed was when I was in 7th grade and I did not make it into the National Junior Honor Society. I thought I was going to get in for sure because my grades were amazing but, I did not do much in school activities. I was very upset when I learned I was not accepted. I learned that I could not just get good grades and expect to get into anywhere, I had to also get involved. So the next year I got involved in a lot of school activities and eventually got into the NJHS. The person who inspires me is my father because he is always pushing me to do my best and that if I want something, I have to earn it through hard work. My favorite quote is success doesn't come to you. You go to it.
With the time I have left, I want to spend it with my family and friends. I do not want to waste the other remaining time by doing nothing worth remembering. I want to be able to look back at my life towards the end and see that I have made the most of my life. I do not want to waste any time that I could use to go out with friends, go out to a new places, or trying new things. I plan to use the remaining jelly beans to make memories that will last me a life time.
Some unique strengths that people thank me for is my ability to look at something, then instantly memorize it, which helps me learn new material and allows me to help others in my class. Another strength that I have is once I get to work, I do not stop until I have finished what I am working on or until I have nearly completed it. Also, I keep myself on task which usually keeps them on task, so they like to work with me because they know time will not be wasted. The thing I value most in my life is my family and the people around me. I would want to be known as a great friend and an accomplished worker. Also I would want to spend time with my family while I make the money to support them as well because there would be no point to spend a lot of time with them if they are struggling to make ends meet. There have been many experiences that have shaped what I want to do. Ever since I was young I have always looked up to law enforcement personnel and when I got to go to a police station as a tour and ride in a squad car, I have always wanted to do something with criminal justice. Also, I have been doing MMA so I have been training myself to be able to protect myself and those around me in an extreme situation. The people who most inspire me are my parents because they are the ones who have pushed me the most to do better in school and to get more involved.
Every since my 9th grade year I have gone under a lot of changes. I still want to either join the Navy and be a Navy Seal or I want to go into the justice department. I have had a change of colleges although. I wanted to only go to U of M but now I want to go to MSU, Stanford, Princeton, Oakland, and the Naval Academy. I didn't have a job back then but I am now looking for one. I am looking for a job so I can have some walking around money when I am out with my friends.
